Our Retail Outlet and Main Office

From the start Unicare's main hub has been situated in St Luke’s Road, Gwardamangia when our first outlet was opened in 2004. G’Mangia is an area well known with Medical services and supplies due to the presence of the only Rehabilitation Hospital on the island only 100meters down St Luke’s Road. Today, thanks to our drive and commitment to service we run a showroom and retail outlet spanning an area of just over 120m².

We are proud to say that we have the most comprehensive range of medical equipment supplies under one roof on the island. Our flag ship is our after self service. The showroom is fully accessible for wheelchair users and is complemented with a 30 minutes parking for Blue Sticker holders. All our staff are carefully selected to give the service desired.

The retail back office is home to our offices where assessments, enquiries and meetings are processed. These offices also house our accounts department and import/export department.

Main Stores

Our main stores are situated opposite our main outlet so as to be as efficient as possible while meeting our customers’ needs promptly . Our stores are set over 280m² and house our vast selection of products. Our Stores also house our service department where repairs, inspections and services of equipment are carried out.

Rehabilitation Outlet

Our new rehabilitation outlet is within the grounds of St Luke’s hospital housed in the Rehabilitation Hospital Karin Grech . Its primary aim is to be as close as possible to the user and the therapists alike. The showroom is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Now they have the possibility to try the equipment, get feedback and experience the products before they purchase. Our shop attendant is a qualified nurse with over 20 years of experience working with less able and elderly patients. He is also trained on selecting the right equipment and what best suit the individual needs.

All this could be carried out without having to leave the hospital and before discharged . This makes it easier to the user and relatives to be more familiar with the equipment before they are returned in the community.

Gozo Outlet

Our outlet set in Victoria, Gozo is strategically placed so as to facilitate a better service to our Gozitan clients. A large variety of our products are on display and available for purchase so that the patient does not have to travel far for the items they need. Assessments and quotations are carried out by a professional Physiotherapist. The showroom is fully accessible for wheelchair users .
